Revolution Me FEST PRIZE GOES to "The Shallow End"

The Revolution Me Film Festival honored “The Shallow End” director Cynthia Silver (“Chemistry”) as Best Director of a Short at its August event. The film also received a nomination for Best Short at the festival based in Brooklyn, New York.

Trevor Brooks joins a teenage cast in the film drama set at a suburban community swimming pool in 1984.

Earlier in 2020, “The Shallow End” took the Drama Award at the Deep Cut Film Festival in Canada. It won Best Film at IndieWorks' Best of Fest in New York City.

Cast members Zoe Wilson, Zoe Manarel, Sanai James, Parker Winston, and Trevor Brooks earned a nomination for Best Ensemble at IndieWorks.
