THE SHALLOW END MAKES A SPLASH AT NEW YORK AND TENNESSEE FESTIVALS

The Shallow End premiered at the 2019 Adirondack Film Festival in Glens Falls, New York. Two weeks later the short film played at the Indie Memphis Film Festival in Tennessee.

Trevor Brooks plays Brendan in this comedy-drama film about social pressure among teenage girls at a suburban swimming pool in the summer of 1984.

The Shallow End was directed by Cynthia Silver. The film was written by Wendy MacLeod, who adapted it from her 1992 play of the same name.
