Emmy Award Nominee Directs Film Starring Trevor Brooks

"Gazebo" starring Trevor Brooks is headed for festival competition this summer after screening at the NYC-based First Run Film Festival in March. The short film was written and directed by Molly Gandour ("Peanut Gallery", "The Babysitter").

"Gazebo" tells the story of Doug Trey (Trevor Brooks), a social outcast with a prosthetic leg, who takes good girl Grace Freewell (Annabel Everett) to a school dance. When Doug's dark side comes out, Grace finds out things aren't what they seem.

Filming took place in Grove City and Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.

Molly Gandour was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Exceptional Merit in Nonfiction Filmmaking in 2011 for the documentary "Gasland". The feature film, which Gandour produced, garnered an Oscar nomination, an Emmy win, and Emmy nominations in three other categories (including Exceptional Merit in Nonfiction Filmmaking).
